An optimizer that shows its work.

Why Nexus exists

Most “PC optimizers” promise big FPS numbers, apply dozens of changes you never see, and leave you no way back. Some switch off security features to look faster. When something breaks, you can't tell what they did.

Nexus is the opposite. It measures first, explains every change with an honest label, applies only what you review, verifies it, and keeps the original so you can undo it. If a popular tweak rarely makes a measurable difference, Nexus says so.

How it's built

Nexus is a native C++ app using Dear ImGui and Direct3D 11. The installer is 3.27 MB. It runs as a standard user, has no background service, no telemetry and no update checks; it only contacts our server to check your account when it starts. On every build, 106 unit tests run, including an apply, verify and exact-restore round trip of 358 tweaks, plus 10 read-only tests against a real system.
