Terms of sale
Last updated: [DATE]
These terms apply to purchases of Nexus Tweaks plans from Nexus Tweaks ("we").
Who sells to you
Purchases are made through Stripe Checkout with Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe is the merchant of record for your purchase: it takes payment, calculates and collects VAT or sales tax, issues your receipt, and handles payment disputes. Stripe's terms for Managed Payments also apply to the payment. The software license itself is granted by us under the End User License Agreement.
What you buy
Nexus Tweaks is free to download and use with a free Nexus account (the Free plan). You can buy Standard or Pro, each a one-time payment that unlocks more of the app on your account, as listed on the Pricing page when you buy. If you own Standard, you can upgrade to Pro by paying the difference shown on your account page. Paid plans include the updates stated at purchase. Your use is licensed under the End User License Agreement.
You need a Nexus account to buy, and your plan is attached to that account. The software is delivered digitally: right after payment, the features of your plan unlock the next time you sign in to the app with your account's email and password. There are no license keys. The app checks your account each time it starts, so it needs an internet connection to open. Every plan works on one PC at a time; you can move it from your account page or from the app.
Keep your password to yourself: your account is for you, and sharing it with others isn't allowed under the EULA.
Prices and taxes
Prices are shown on the Pricing page. The final total, including any tax for your location, is shown at checkout before you pay.
Immediate delivery and the right of withdrawal
Nexus Tweaks is digital content delivered immediately after payment. Where the law gives consumers a right to withdraw from a purchase (for example in the EU and UK), you ask for immediate delivery when you buy, and you acknowledge that the statutory right of withdrawal may end once the software is made available on your account. This does not affect our voluntary refund policy.
Refunds
See the refund policy. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Our responsibilities
We describe what Nexus does and doesn't do as accurately as we can on this site. Nexus changes Windows settings that you review and approve. It records changes so they can be undone and can create System Restore points, but you remain responsible for the changes you choose to apply. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited as set out in the EULA.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
