End User License Agreement

This agreement is between you and Nexus Tweaks ("we") and covers Nexus Tweaks ("the software"). By installing or using the software you agree to it.

1. License grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on one PC at a time, signed in with your own Nexus account. Which features you may use depends on your account's plan: Free, Standard or Pro, as described on the pricing page when you got it. A "PC" is one Windows installation that you sign in on. If you replace a PC or reinstall Windows, you may move the license: sign out and free the old PC in the app, or remove it on your account page, then sign in on the new one.

The software checks your account when it starts and needs an internet connection to do so. If a paid plan ends (for example after a refund), your account returns to the Free plan. Restore Center stays available on every plan, so you can always undo changes you made.

2. Updates

Standard and Pro include updates for the period stated at purchase (12 months of updates). Versions you received during that period remain licensed to you afterwards. The Free plan may change or end at any time.

3. Restrictions

You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the software, share your account or its password with others, try to get around the account check or the PC limit, or remove copyright notices. You may not reverse engineer the software except as permitted by applicable law. Third-party components are licensed under their own terms, listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and the LICENSES folder.

4. Your system and your changes

The software changes Windows settings that you review and approve. You are responsible for the changes you choose to apply. The software records each change with its original value, verifies it, lets you undo it from Restore Center, and can create Windows System Restore points. Some actions are one-way by nature (for example removing Store apps, uninstalling OneDrive, deleting temporary files and running repairs); the software labels them and asks for confirmation. We recommend creating a restore point before making large changes.

5. No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise any specific performance, FPS or latency improvement. Results depend on your hardware, drivers, Windows version, connection and games.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or use, arising from the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach it. On termination, stop using the software and delete it.

8. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
