Turn off automatic maintenance
Stops Windows' idle-time maintenance (scheduled optimization, diagnostics, Store app updates).
Applying it needs Nexus Pro. Every plan can read it here and undo it in Restore Center. Compare plans
What it changes
Nexus changes 1 Windows setting in the registry. You see each exact change, with your current value next to the new one, before anything is applied, and you can undo it in Restore Center.
Why it helps
Prevents maintenance from starting while you are AFK in a game lobby.
Trade-offs
Drive optimization (SSD TRIM) and other upkeep no longer run on their own; run them manually.
Evidence
Limited evidence means: popular, but gains are rarely measurable. Expected impact is small (1 of 3): how much it can matter when this is actually the bottleneck on your PC, not a promised gain.
Gains from this tweak are rarely measurable on modern Windows, so it is never recommended or applied in bulk. If you try it, measure before and after with the Benchmark and keep it only if it helps.
Is it in a pack?
No. Packs only contain Safe tweaks, and this one is labelled Caution.
How to undo
Switch the tweak off in Nexus, or open Restore Center and restore this change (or choose Undo last change). Nexus writes back the original value it recorded before applying, not a generic default, then reads it back to confirm.
