Ultimate Performance power plan
Adds Microsoft's Ultimate Performance plan (if missing) and makes it active.
Applying it needs Nexus Standard or Pro. Every plan can read it here and undo it in Restore Center. Compare plans
What it changes
Copies the built-in Ultimate Performance template with PowerDuplicateScheme and activates it. Restoring re-activates your previous plan and deletes the copy Nexus created.
Before anything is written, the review screen shows this setting's current value on your PC next to the new one.
Why it helps
Removes most power-saving micro-latencies; designed by Microsoft for high-end workstations.
Trade-offs
Noticeably higher idle power and heat. Little to no FPS change on most gaming PCs.
Evidence
Limited evidence means: popular, but gains are rarely measurable. Expected impact is small (1 of 3): how much it can matter when this is actually the bottleneck on your PC, not a promised gain.
Gains from this tweak are rarely measurable on modern Windows, so it is never recommended or applied in bulk. If you try it, measure before and after with the Benchmark and keep it only if it helps.
Is it in a pack?
No. Packs only contain Safe tweaks, and this one is labelled Caution.
How to undo
Switch the tweak off in Nexus, or open Restore Center and restore this change (or choose Undo last change). Nexus writes back the original value it recorded before applying, not a generic default, then reads it back to confirm.
