Disable Nagle & delayed ACK (TCP)
Sets TcpAckFrequency=1 and TCPNoDelay=1 on your active network adapter.
Applying it needs Nexus Pro. Every plan can read it here and undo it in Restore Center. Compare plans
What it changes
(per-device values resolved on this PC)
Before anything is written, the review screen shows this setting's current value on your PC next to the new one.
Why it helps
Can lower latency in TCP-based games (some MMOs and older titles).
Trade-offs
Most competitive games use UDP and are unaffected. Slightly more packets on TCP connections.
Evidence
Limited evidence means: popular, but gains are rarely measurable. Expected impact is small (1 of 3): how much it can matter when this is actually the bottleneck on your PC, not a promised gain.
Gains from this tweak are rarely measurable on modern Windows, so it is never recommended or applied in bulk. If you try it, measure before and after with the Benchmark and keep it only if it helps.
Is it in a pack?
No. Packs never include tweaks with Limited evidence.
How to undo
Switch the tweak off in Nexus, or open Restore Center and restore this change (or choose Undo last change). Nexus writes back the original value it recorded before applying, not a generic default, then reads it back to confirm.
Like applying it, undoing it takes full effect after you restart.
Where it applies
- Network adapters that support this setting; values are read from your active adapter.
Anywhere else, Nexus shows it as not applicable instead of pretending it works.
